In Tableau Desktop and Tableau Reader, a Custom SQL Warning message is displayed when you open a workbook or packaged workbook that contains:
- a custom SQL query in the data connection
- a raw SQL pass-through in a calculated field

If any SQL statement or custom SQL query includes an update query, you might want to revise that syntax to be sure nothing unexpected can occur.
