Apple denies planning Google Fi-like own mobile service

It was reported that Apple was testing a so-called mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) service in the US, which would involve it renting capacity from one or more network operators to sign up its own customers. Google is already working on 'Project Fi' that is based on the same principle.
