You ever noticed how in tons of classic movies from the 70's there's a scene in a crowded office/lab/studio where the camera slowly moves through the place, and you can hear all the different dialogues and phones ringing and all the clutter and ambiance?
It focuses on one or two persons at a time but you can still kind of make out all the background noise.
It has that warm analog sound that I personally love.
I've noticed that it rarely happens in modern movies.. even when there's a bustling place full of activity. It feels more... sterile? Why is that? I'm not really sure how to describe it. If you know what I'm talking about, I bet someone can articulate it much better than me.
Again, feel free to disagree as it just something I thought about today and might be wrong.
