The Edge of Tomorrow sequel should start with Tom Cruise dying peacefully as an old man in a hospital with his family. He then wakes up back in the helicopter, and the movie is about trying to rid himself of this horrible curse.

I love the idea that Tom Cruise defeated the aliens, went on to live a full, happy life, but then has to start over again. Imagine the pain and frustration of the notion that you have to relive the last 50 years of your life over and over for eternity.

SO, he now has to figure out how to rid himself of the time traveling power he's been given, which would likely involve finding himself another Omega to kill him. He devotes the rest of his life to tracking down the alien race. He relives the last 40-50 years of his life over and over until he can create the means to find them.

Of course, upon finding the new Omega, the plan somehow backfires and the alien race returns to Earth to attack again. So he has to enlist the help of Emily Blunt, and his wealth of knowledge about the creatures, to defeat them one last time and finally die the death he's been wanting all along.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Forgot about that whole blood transfusion thing. Kinda blows a huge hole in everything. Forget I said anything. Carry on.
