No spoilers here - and no association with Fox or the film. Took in a screening of the film on the Fox lot today and was absolutely floored by it. Martin McDonagh's 3rd film is definitely his best; the best aspects of In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths are here but without any flaws. Nobody writes character or dialogue like McDonagh, and his cast crushes every role, particularly Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell.
The film is savagely funny and also pretty heartbreaking. Highly recommend this to anyone who's a fan of deep character work and writing. Would love to see McDonagh nominated for Best Screenplay and Director, McDormand for Best Actress and Rockwell for Supporting Actor. Limited release right now but when it comes to you, get to it!
