For those unaware, Thunderbolts was a series where a team of supervillains, led by Baron Zemo(Bruhl's character) masqueraded as superheros while the Avengers and other heroes were gone after fighting Thanos, with the intention of gaining the city's trust and gaining access to various buildings and secrets. Eventually some of them begin to like being superheroes and reform, fighting against Zemo.
While it wouldn't work in exactly the same way because of how the MCU is set up, it could be a fantastic story and unique within the MCU, and allow Marvel to pick and choose the characters they want to introduce, as they could easily be done with minimum introduction.
Plus this would really help the feeling of a living world, where the villains don't just die, and actually help with the problems of MCU lacking good villains.
Am I alone in wanting this?
