Right now, I'm watching the scene in Patton where the Germans are talking about the need to reorient their troops to Normandy. It got me thinking that I would have love to have seen it eventually transition into the famous opening scene of Saving Private Ryan. But why stop there? Cut up Dunkirk and Darkest Hour to show an interchange between Churchill's decisions and their follow-through. These are just examples, but you could basically show the entire war chronologically through films.
