... it's quite awesome for anyone looking for old fashion comic book adaptation. Very 90's sure. But I was thrilled to realize a lot of the film shares DNA with Tim Burton's batmans. Really (Danny Elfman's music helps of course), one can think he's watching a prequel to those films, a 50's version of gotham of some sort. It's campy and full of weird colors and make up (you can like or hate it) back then comic books were turned into films in an absolute NON realistic way. refreshing by all means if you're tired of "serious" comic books adaptations. I never fancied Madonna very much, but dammit she's hot as hell in there.
