Since my go-to movie theaters have stopped giving paper tickets, I dediced to do something with all the ticket stubs I've collected, from MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE II to ISLE OF DOGS.
The tickets, as they were: https://i.imgur.com/TlCxAIJ.jpg
Step one: the background, layering the tickets down.

Buried underneath them all, entombed beneath the paper backing, at the dead center of the board, is, of course, NATIONAL TREASURE: BOOK OF SECRETS.
Step two: taking a picture for the Instagram, because I'm a whore.

Step three: a painstaking process of cutting out each letter. Got really high and streamed Funhaus videos, and powered through it over a few days.

The centerpiece would be the final line from CASABLANCA: "Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship," mirroring my own beautiful friendship with the movies
Step four: an even more painstaking process of affixing each letter to the board, with mounting tape to give it the 'raised lettering' look.

Step five: give it a quick spray coat to keep it from yellowing.

It's barely legible and slightly off-center, but it's a lifetime of movies and I love it.
