A lot of American movies, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_American_films_of_1923 and some movies from other parts of the world, will finally enter public domain in America, in addition to books published the same year.
All of the movies may be silent, but since the films from 1924 will enter public domain in 2020, and movies from 1925 in 2021, and so on, the first sound movies should only be a few years away.
