My Answer: Hand-Drawn animation films are than better CGI animation. CGI is not bad and it way easier and cheaper to use plus they are some things that cannot be done in 2D that only 3D can do, However, the amount of work it takes see drawings and paintings move in such fluent motion is unbelievable. It's like watching a painting move and there is so much aw and spectacle in high budget 2D films compared to 3D films in my opinion. Into the Spider-verse, although being CGI, showed how adding 2D elements and effects make the animation more unique.
