(Spoilers ahead for the original film):
Before I sing praises let me say that I personally consider the original film to be more of a horror movie than an action movie (I understand why some if not most would disagree).
What I Love: Impactful arrival of the Terminator, The cinematography strong performances, the music, the action sequences, the terror in the characters when the Cyberdyne System Model 101 (or the T-800) is constantly getting up despite being shot a gazillion times, being blown up by a pipe bomb and even in a truck accident, the memorable lines, the visual effects (aside from literally that one shot that's obviously a dummy for Arnold Schwarzenegger's head), the eye surgery scene (for the most part) and the great ending.
EASILY ONE OF MY FAVORITE FILMS.
Not really much to complain about personally aside from that one shot during the eye surgery scene (although i do love this scene).
What did you guys think of the film? Are you excited for Dark Fate? What's your ranking of the franchise? Let me know!
(P.S.) I'd like to wish Mr. Cameron, Mr. Schwarzenegger, Mr. Miller, Ms. Hamilton and the rest of the cast and crew of "Terminator: Dark Fate" the best of luck with the film. I'll be there opening day and I am pumped for the film. (I'm a big Terminator fan and a HUGE fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger & James Cameron's work so if this makes you cringe or make you think I'm some paid shill I swear I am not. I just get all nostalgic whenever a franchise I grew up with returning to to the big screen, specifically if they bring back older cast members. (Like Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween (H20/2018) or even if they brought back Neve Cambell to play Sidney Prescott in a new Screen movie or some kind of short.)
