The movie Constantine from 2005 is one of my all time guilty pleasures. I'm glad to see that it's finally getting some recognition these days, although people still trash talk it because John Constantine wasn't exactly on point (I know, I know, in the comic he's very different), but that doesn't really matter to me. Constantine is still cool AF in this movie and it's actually the movie that started me on the road to becoming a big Keanu Reeves fan.
There are so many things I love about this movie. I'm interested in angel and demon stuff, etc, so that's a big plus point from the start. I also really love Peter Stormare's Satan. Best movie Devil of all time in my eyes (Viggo and Gabriel Byrne push him close, though). Rachel Weisz delivers the goods as always, that whole neutral bar, etc, etc. Just awesomeness all around.
So yeah, that's basically it. Slight rumblings of a sequel starting to emerge here and there but I doubt it will ever happen. Fingers crossed, though. This flick deserves one, in my opinion.
