I often see people saying A Nightmare Before Christmas was directed by Tim Burton but it was actually directed by Henry Selick.
Anybody knows any other good examples of this?

V For Vendetta by James McTeigue, not the Wachowskis
On the other hand, for the longest time I thought Spielberg directed Poltergeist, only to find out later that it was actually Tobe Hooper
