Coraline is probably one of the most beautifully animated movies I have ever seen, the stop motion creates a beautiful and haunting visuals. The characters were colorful and dark at the same time. This kind of reminded me of Guillermo de toro's Pan's Labyrinth for some reason. Also the storyline was creative and dark as well, especially for an animated movie.
