I saw Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure for the first time about a year ago, and couldn't believe I'd never seen it before. It just felt so classic, and it fit into the same sort of vein as The Princess Bride, Ferris Bueller, or The Sandlot for me - they're simple, fun, relatively clean movies that are just such a joy to watch. They're my go-to's if I want to show someone a movie that's just plain fun, or if I want something to put a smile on my face. Any other rec's for similar movies?
