A Ryan Gosling movie, where he's not a sexy hunk or a funny character. He plays a young man who has been struggling with delusion and pretended a sex doll was a real girl with a backstory and a job. Despite his brother being sceptic at first, his sister in law was a real angel that persuaded him to help. I was expecting that when Lars shows Bianca(the sex doll) to people, they would make fun of him. Instead, everybody was the most loving and supportive, pretending Bianca was real. They were inviting her places and taking care of her. Now that's kind of movies that make you believe in humanity.
