Back when Signs was showing in theaters, I went to go see it at a small, local theater. Except for being the only person in the theater, it was an otherwise normal experience. Then, right around the birthday party scene, the door to the theater opened and I started hearing little pitter patter footsteps that sounded like an animal was running around in the theater. The footsteps eventually stopped but the door opened and closed periodically without anyone else coming in.
Just wondering if anyone else has had strange experiences in movie theaters that either added to the tone of the movie or taken away from it.
