This film totally flew under my radar last year as it quietly dropped on streaming in October.
It's a fantastic and fun thriller that's tonally perfect, a comedic tale of a 32 year old once-celebrated kid detective who now battles his past regrets while trying to solve a new case. Adam Brody absolutely nails this character, breezing through this film in a part he was destined to play while the beating jazz soundtrack of old noir films fills the scenes.
It's currently on Starz / Amazon and it's totally worth your time.
