For about a month now, I've been watching a lot of movies starring a comedian and actor Steve Martin. He's absolutely hilarious and a comedic marvel. Lately I've been watching his movies because well he's funny. The first movie I saw with him was Planes, Trains and Automobiles. I soon saw The Jerk, Parenthood, The Lonely Guy, Housesitter, Roxeanne, A Simple Twist of Fate, Cheaper by the Dozen. I'm currently watching Father of the Bride! It's absolutely great. I would like to know is what Steve Martin film is your favorite movie and which performances are his best ones? So far for me are Neal Page from Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Navin R. Johnson from The Jerk, Gil Buckman, from Parenthood, Larry Hubbard from The Lonely Guy, Newton Davis from Housesitter, C.D. Bales from Roxeanne, Michael McCain from A Simple Twist of Fate and Tom Baker from Cheaper by the Dozen. Those are some his best roles. What's your favorite roles and movies of his?
Also interesting fact. Originally, he was supposed to voice Donkey in Shrek.
