Watching Peter Jackson's King Kong (2005) and Jack Black is filming the actor character in front of dinosaurs. He says "I need you in the shot or people will think it's fake" and the actor replies "nobody is going to think these are fake." Immediately after the dinosaurs stampede and it is easily the worst looking, most early 2000's CGI moment in the film. Had that line been said at any other part it probably wouldn't have been as ironic but since it immediately is followed by the most inauthentic looking part of the film it makes me laugh. I was curious about other examples of this. Honestly, a lot of this movie still looks really really good for its age, so this scene in particular stands out like a sore thumb.
