Who's an actor that was so good you felt yourself viscerally hating their character and hoping they'd get theirs by the end of the movie. I'm not really talking about monsters or creatures, you're supposed to hate them. I mean characters played with some depth by actors.
The one that's fresh in my mind is the Bible thumping lady Bev in midnight mass, played by Samantha Sloyan. She was so great in the role it made me hope beyond hope that's she'd "get hers" by the end of the show. I felt like I really hated her personally.
Anyone else have any examples from horror movies?
