It's too easy to complain about movie tropes. And it makes sense. If over done or not done well, they can be cringe inducing. But when done well?
Oh so good. So, with that, what's your favorite movie trope of all time?
My favorite trope of all time is when the hero is like, backed against the wall and BAM the friends come in to save the god damn day. I don't know why, it's so cheesy most of the time, but some others? Like in Game of Thrones when you think Jon Snow is DONE for all of a sudden the Vale army comes riding in and Sansa and Littlefinger are Gandalf? It's just too good.
The movie version of this that I really like is the Portal scene.
I mean...Come on. It's fucking sweet.
