Older movie, but just finally watched it after not being able to decide on anything else spooky-scary to watch.
That ending had me in SHOCK. The fact that he first had to endure the market with his child and bear witness to his wife being dead before he mercy killed four people including his SON and was ready to give himself a painful death so they could pass peacefully just for soldiers to come and clear the mist moments later.. Heartbreaking. Definitely not what I expected. I read that the ending wasn’t happy, but not like that! 😭
For those who have watched or remember the film, what did you think in comparison to King’s ending? Better or Worse? Heard King himself said he wished he thought of the ending haha.
