He cuts off Daniel multiple times and insists that he be called up by name to bless the “well”. You can see it on Daniel’s face how outlandish his tone is. My question is, the land has already been bought, why does Daniel take that type of tone?
I understand Paul has a lease/deal to build and occupy the church, so he’s not going anywhere. But to speak to Plainview in the way he does makes it seem like he has leverage over a deal with him. Daniel ends up not fulfilling Paul’s “wishes”, but again, why would he even be spoken to in that type of tone in the first place? He sat there and took it. Given Plainview’s already demonstrated personality, he doesn’t take that type of attitude or command. Why did he from Paul?
Edit: sorry mixing Paul and Eli. I meant Eli. Literally the tenth time I’ve watch this and still mess it up lol
