Whenever people says he’s a bad actor, this is the movie that usually gets brought up as his main good performance. It’s pretty great seeing him play against type as this crazy, irresponsible, coke head. I feel like it’s the kind of role he hasn’t tried in a while, despite him showing potential. I guess it’s to protect the Rock brand, but I’m hoping Johnson’s upcoming A24 movie will allow him to showcase the range he used to have
