What an incredible film. I was aware of it before but had never heard anyone really discuss it. James Cameron directed and the cast lead by Ed Harris delivers exceptionally well. There is an excellent claustrophobic thriller feeling as almost the whole thing takes place deep under water. The effects, though obviously dated, are still very impressive. It's probably too long, but I enjoyed every second of it and the somewhat of a surprise ending just capped off what I found to be an exceptionally underrated/forgotten film.
