I've just rewatched Kong: Skull Island. Now, it was no masterpiece on the first viewing. But watching it again, outside of the theatre experience, the movie is one big cliche with countless errors.
It's not the story so much, not necessarily the acting. If anything the directing lets it down.
Which left me wondering why I even considered watching it again.
