Rambo creator and First Blood author David Morrell was interviewed on the Culture Creature podcast. Morrell says that he and Sly developed a story for Rambo 5 that took the character on a ‘soulful journey.’ Morrell says, “Stallone took it to the producers and they said, ‘No, we want to do a movie about human trafficking.’”
