I recently have gone down a rabbit hole concerning why comic book movies tend to have weak villains and I realized it tended to be because their motives all seemed to be the same. Then I started expanding out to non-comic book movies and I here we are.
So who do you think had the best motive? One that is a) unique, b) makes sense if you were in their position, c) and is consistent throughout the film?
