Yes, Paul Thomas Anderson has studied the best (Scorsese for example) and has done many excellent films. Quite possibly the best Tom Cruise performance, not to mention everyone else in the film...and I mean EVERYONE. The reason I posted this was wondering if this has been done before or better...? Magnolia is basically a fast paced film with short films within the film that intertwine. Has this been done before as good as this?
