By this, I don't mean which one is the best film that is the adaptation to a book or which film captures the most positive aspects of the source material but simply which one really captures everything about it. All of its achievements and failures. A film can still be bad even if it's quite faithful and a film can still be absolutely fantastic and possibly better than the source material even when it is unfaithful. A adaptation so faithful that you pretty much don't even have to check out the source material to get everything in it.
Which film adaptation do you think is the most faithful to the source material?
