I think it's Avengers Infinity War and Endgame, for me.
Don't think I've ever been to a theatre with audience like that. There were cheers and claps every scene. And for certain scenes, you could literally hear people gasping. It was insane.
I've seen some YouTube videos featuring opening day reactions for Star Wars The Phantom menace. My God. It was madness. I can only imagine the disappointment the audience walked out of, after the showing.
What's a similar experience you went through? Every seat packed to the brim. Audiences dressed up in their movie attires, clapping and enjoying every scene. Just how an audience should be.
Edit - C'mon lmao? You know I didn't actually mean that. I don't expect the audience to clap at any average scene. I'm talking about scenes that deserve cheers.
Example - Luke destroying the death star in the end of new hope. I'm sorry, if you expect audience to not cheer after that sequence.
