I walked out of the cinema during one single movie this year: Captain Underpants. I'd read some decent reviews, and had heard Mark Kermode sing its praises, so I went to check it out.
I saw it mid-afternoon on a day off from work and for some reason I was pretty exhausted, and just wanted to put my feet up in front of me (in a practically empty cinema; don't worry) and mentally clock out for an hour and a half.
But, the movie felt like a tasteless and unfunny assault on my senses and I had to get outta there because I was starting to feel ill.
I'd absolutely be curious to know whether anybody who reads this has seen Captain Underpants, and what they thought of it.
