It's well known that he pushed for Han to be killed and it's apparent from interviews he isn't too fond of Han, he always meets the question with a sigh.
Yet with Indiana Jones he is happy to play him again, and even said he is excited for it.
Why is this?
The two characters are barely that different to each other. Just some surface differences and that's it. I don't think Indiana is particularly that much more interesting than Han, just a bit more fleshed out, and not even extensively so. Both characters are archetypes.
