In almost every Reddit thread about The Purge films, everyone seems to ridicule the focus on murder while ignoring more likely crimes, such as financial crimes (insider training, etc). What they forget is that the purge lasts from 700 PM to 7 AM. Markets are closed. Even if they used the purge to obtain insider information, once the markets open it'd be illegal to use anyways.
