Every big budget movie that comes out now is 3-D. But why is that? I genuinely don't know anyone who actively enjoys 3D, and I've never heard anyone say "OMG this movie's in 3D!" but rather "Ugh this movie's in 3D." So why do Hollywood keep making their movies 3D? Most people who watch movies at home aren't watching in 3D and obviously no one really likes it. Honestly I can't even tell a difference between 2D and 3D.
Does anyone like 3D?
Edit: Yeah I know most movies film in 2D and then convert to 3D. I just meant in general why do they make the movie 3D.
Edit 2: I always go to 3D. I don’t hate it. But I also don’t actively care. 3D movies often have more and better show times, plus it’s there why not utilize it. The whole point of my post was to find out if anyone actually genuinely enjoys it, because I don’t know anyone who does. Most people I know either hate it or just don’t have an opinion. Edit 3: I really hope that Hollywood advances 3D, it seems like a technology that could be incredible. But isn’t.
