I was talking with a friend about fight scenes and we were trying to come up with the earliest example of a good, solid, modern movie fight.
The earliest we came up with is the train fight from 1963’s From Russia With Love:
Can you think of an earlier example of a good movie fight? Or if you disagree that the From Russia With Love is good, what other examples can you think of?
Feel free to answer with movies from any country. I’m really interested in the evolution of the movie fight. So many otherwise good movies of the 40’s and 50’s were marred by bad fight/action scenes.
