There are quite a few people I know that refuse to watch animated movies with me cause they consider them “kid’s movies”, but if anything. I find that they are still entertaining if not more interesting when you pay more attention to the details and understand the deep messages the story is trying to tell you!
The Emperor’s New Groove I find is a very big example of this! Even though Kuzco is presented as a bad person who thinks he’s entitled to command whatever he wants, I really love paying more attention to his development as he starts to understand that his actions are the reason why he ends up alone and starts to humble himself.
