What's the meaning of the perfectly standing shoe in Nope (2022)??
When the chimpanzee Gordy goes on a rampage, and kills everyone on set, Jupe notes on the background a standing shoe.
I thought it would have been explained or hinted later in the movie, or connected to the plot or Jean Jacket, but nothing, just a random thing dropped in the scene.
Does that connect to the scene in which Daniel Kaluuya's character talks about the fact that a "bad miracle" can happen?
But if that were the case, what would a bad miracle have to do with the massacre scene??
Why in the middle of that chaos there's that shoe?
It's almost an attempt to evoke magical realism, like in a Fellini film, but in this case it's unclear what the filmmaker wants to convey.
Does anyone know the meaning of that standing shoe??
