After Tableau Server has been upgraded to version 6.1 or later, you may notice the "Filter to Background ID" quick filter on the Background Tasks page contains extra IDs. If you select or deselect these extra IDs in the quick filter, the view may not appear to update because there are no tasks associated with those IDs within the selected time period. These extra IDs remain from the previous version of Tableau and do not affect the data displayed in the view since the upgrade occurred. Ensure that the extra IDs are not selected in the quick filter and the proper time period is selected so that you can monitor the latest background tasks.
Note: An ID such as 0 corresponds to a background machine before the upgrade, and an ID such as < IPaddress >:0 corresponds to a background machine after the upgrade.
