In The Substance, why did she name herself Sue?

I've been thinking about The Substance, and one thing that bothered me about the movie is how Sue chose a name for herself arbitrarily. How, of all possible names, did she arrive on "Sue"?

It's not a glamorous name, even a touch old-fashioned for such an ingenue. It's not a variant of the name Elisabeth. And I don't see any callbacks or allusions to anything else in the movie.

So of the thousands of possible names, how did she decide on Sue? Was there a reason I missed? A reference to something I'm not understanding? Is there some wordplay I'm not picking up on? The Substance is such a tightly written script, I can't accept something as important as a main character's name, especially one self-imposed, would be chosen at random.
