Just watched the new Outer Limits (1995-2002) episode "Dead Man's Switch", and it really made me realize that's a topic and premise I really enjoy. Specifically where something really bad has happened, but people are separated, by comms, info, maybe geography, and get eventual, gated hints and information about what has happened. Think also Jericho.
Any movie or TV show episodes that fit that bill?
